I have been working with Dr Mayet over the past year on starting a new psychological therapies service. He brings a huge amount of energy to the project, communicates extremely well and is very organised. He is clearly a very caring GP, but also very evidence based in his approach to medicine. He is a pleasure to work with.

Dr Mayet has been my twin daughters' GP since they were born. I could not ask for my daughters' welfare to be in better hands. He always has time for us and having twins we see him frequently. He always takes the time to listen and never makes us feel rushed. He is sympathetic to the needs of coping with twins and even though he is not my GP he always takes the time to make sure that I am keeping well. I could not ask for a better GP for my children.

Dr Mayet is a brilliant Doctor. He has been my Doctor for almost five years. He has always been there for me. Nothing is too much trouble. He is a caring Doctor, wanting the best for his patients, and you can actually approach him as a friend not just a GP. I highly recommend him - he is the best Doctor I have ever had - and I am sixty years of age.

Having many years been examined by several doctors regarding a specific complaint, upon meeting Dr Mayet I felt, for the 1st time, that what I was saying was both being listened to and taken seriously. Within a fortnight he had effectively identified the problem, prescribed a solution and made the appropriate referral. These qualities and values (listening, understanding, support and advice) which Dr Mayet radiates are the values which I feel encourages patient trust and respect – something I now hold in abundance.
